My Friend's House

A friend of mine is my former schoolmate. Her name is Ann. She lives in a nice cottage. It’s a stone house.

In front of it there is a green lawn and a flower bed with roses. In the yard they have a garage. The house is not very large.

At first you enter the hall. It is square and rather big. There are built-in cupboards near the door. On the wall there is a big mirror. From the hall you can get into any room.

Their sitting-room is quite big. There is very little furniture in it. That’s why it looks wide. There is a thick carpet on the floor.

The bedroom of Ann’s parents is furnished with a bedroom suite. It consists of a double bed, two bedside tables and a wardrobe. There is a dressing table with a stool near the window.

Ann and her sister have their own room. They like to study there and have a rest.

The kitchen is not very large but it is very comfortable. They also have a bathroom and a lavatory.

I like to go to Ann’s place. We often sit in her room, listen to the music and talk.

Моя подруга - моя бывшая одноклассница. Ее зовут Энн. Она живет в прекрасном доме. Это каменный дом.

Перед ним - зеленый газон и клумба с розами. Во дворе у них есть гараж. Дом не очень большой.

Сначала вы попадаете в холл. Он имеет квадратную форму и довольно большой. У двери - встроенные шкафы. На стене находится большое зеркало. Из зала можно попасть в любую комнату.

Их гостинная, достаточно велика. В ней очень мало мебели. Вот почему она выглядит широкой. Толстый ковер - на полу.

В спальне родителей Энн стоит спальный гарнитур. Он состоит из двуспальной кровати, двух тумбочек и шкафа. У окна - туалетный столик с пуфиком.

Энн и ее сестра имеют собственную комнату. Им нравится учиться и отдыхать здесь.

Кухня не очень большая, но очень удобная. У них также есть ванная комната и туалет.

Я люблю приходить к Энн. Мы часто сидим в её комнате, слушаем музыку и разговариваем.
